What am I up too? Deep Thought
Bringing characters to life. Back in art school, I always began drawing,illustrating, and rendering eyes before anything else. I cannot stress, how important eyes are to a character. If done wrong, you loose everything if it seems lifeless despite how good the model is. So remember, the eyes bring it to life, but also learn from cg mistakes…like the Polar Express, which was just fucking creepy.
Production Focus: Dreamscape Cg Contest
For every idea, theres needs to be time for it to be thought out before sketching it it down. It has been 2 weeks since i decided what would be a good image, with focus to dreams, surreality, imaginative, and a world. How do you begin something never seen before. This is where my good ole sketchbook Pro, coffee, and patience re sketches a blurb of a drawing. The idea is simple, a world within a world created by you the observer. Currently, pre visualizing the image needs research. What is the aesthetic, whats the style, and what is the message we want to portray.
