Welcome to another round of finished art. This week I was working primarily on SSS Fast Skin shader in 3dsmax 2010 and Mental ray. I revised a very old project created almost 1 year and a half ago. The character herself is shrouded in mystery, the story behind it, can be viewed as beauty and blindness. The character herself started as a head bust. Using loft for cloth in 3dsmax, Zbrush 4 was used to create the detail and GO-z back into 3dsmax. Materials consist of Fast Skin SSS, Archviz Metal. This scene was not rendered with Final Gather. 4 passes were used to composite; a dirtpass, spec pass,zdepth and diffuse. The final beauty pass was saved out using a 32bit Open Exr file format for more color control.
